The annual Danish jazz meeting is back with Kira Skov !
Join us Friday 17th november from 8pm at Le Bicolore.
Kira Skov will draw from her entire repertoire to present her best tracks of Jazz and soul influence.
MY HEART IS A MOUNTAIN- Kira Skov's new album recorded in Peter Gabriel's legendary studio was released the 19th of May 2023 in collaboration with John Parish, Silas Tinglef, Billy Fuller and HEAD.
"Her voice has never been stronger, and it becomes immediately apparent that her days of heartbreak and sorrow seem to be fewer and further from one another. The grief and loss she explored in her songwriting have been part of a natural, necessary process since the passing of her husband in February 2017.

That’s where we meet Kira on MY HEART IS A MOUNTAIN.
Kira left her home in Copenhagen at 17 to pursue her dream of playing in a rock'n'roll band. For eight years, she journeyed through many foreign lands like a modern-day gipsy. She has lived in London and L.A., but her path led her through many different parts of the world.
She has created a musical world of deeply personal songs, a style of her own.
In the 21 years following her first album release, she has released 15 studio albums, 3 of them being with her first band (Kira and the Kindred Spirits), which led to her winning a Danish Music Award and the Gaffa Prize for "Vocalist of the Year" in 2006.
Concert presented by Le Bicolore- Maison du Danemark for the 21st edition of the international Festival Jazzycolors.
Doors will open at 19.30.
Free entrance, without reservation, within the limit of available seats.
